I use professional coatings that are different than what you can buy in a store. Home kits are usually epoxy based. In contrast, I use commercial grade urethane that is similar to a car finish. It is very durable and it lasts for many years.

It is essential to prepare a tub properly before any new finish is applied. That takes time and experience. Usually, it takes three to four hours to clean, etch and repair a bathtub before I apply a new finish. Also, I use a proprietary adhesion promoter before I spray a tub.

Chips, cracks and damage repair are no problem. Even if you have something like a two foot long crack in the bottom of your tub, I can repair it and put back into use by the next day. I offer free estimates, ensuring your satisfaction with personalized attention.

Are you a DIY person who wants to tackle a tub refinishing project? There are many home kits available to purchase that you can use. Back before I was refinishing professionally I refinished my antique sink and clawfoot tub with a kit and it lasted for about a year. It was epoxy based and I brushed it on with fair results.

In the past 20 years or refinishing I have removed the coatings from many home refinished bathtubs and replaced the epoxy with a sprayed-on urethane coating. It is extremely durable, lasts for 15 to 20 years and it looks and feels like porcelain. If you want to DIY your bathtub just be prepared to have it redone at some point. Remember: I am fully insured and dedicated to quality, I handle every job myself to guarantee the highest standards of craftsmanship.
